But this line was infuriating:
"John McCain likes to say that he'll follow bin Laden to the Gates of Hell – but he won't even go to the cave where he lives."
ESPECIALLY considering Obama's war record. ESPECIALLY considering Joe Biden's I-was-for-the-war-before-I-was-against-it philosophy.
Is he calling McCain a coward? Really?
Then, this annoyed me to no end (from memory):
Sen. McCain, we all put our country first.
Is that even remotely true? Do we?
Oh my. I bet McCain's donations are skyrocketing tonight. Me? Well, I'm waiting to see who his VP pick is.

Last time i checked his cave wasn't in Iraq.
One word comes to mind: hypocrisy. In my books this is to pretend what you don't intend.
Unfortunately, many people are wowed by the attractive rhetoric, which amounts to nothing more that clouds without rain.
Nancy,
I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts about Palin, should you decide to share them here.
Mark
Hey, McCain is a POW - which is a coward. You never surrender!
I too want to hear what you think of Governor Palin....
Sarah Palin hit it out of the park! I was considering not voting for anyone for president until I heard her. Now, I'm voting for McCain so that American can have Palin in the White House one day soon.
Patrick,
Why in the world did Palin change your mind? Is she really that much different from McCain?
I had hoped that she would be the soothing voice among the "pro-war anywhere" pseudo-conservatives, but alas, just last night she made no bones about possible war with Russia over the South Ossetia/ Georgia/NATO issues.
